Style inspiration - DIFFERENT WAYS TO WEAR OUR SILK SCARVES AND LOOK FABULOUS

DIFFERENT WAYS TO WEAR OUR SQUARE SILKS SCARVES AND LOOK FABULOUS

Silk scarves never go out of fashion. You might think we can only wear them around our necks, but there are many unexpected and classy ways to wear a silk or satin scarf.

The Classic - around your neck

Fold your scarf diagonally to form a triangle, then roll from crease to corner to create a "tube". Wrap it around the neck from the front to the back, tying a knot or bow in the front.

The Ponytail

The classic ponytail tie is the most straightforward scarf style to master. Make a ponytail with your hair and tie the scarf around the base, letting the ends hang down. Complete the look with a rectangular silk scarf in a fun print!

The Loose Knot

The loose knot is a great technique for allowing the scarf to hang more easily from the handles of your favourite handbag. It can be used to add colour and character to almost any bag, but it works particularly well on your daily carry bag. Fold the scarf into a long, narrow strip, tie a loose knot in the centre of your scarf strip and let both ends hang freely along the front facade of the bag.

The Ankle Scarf

Plain old jeans can get boring after a while, and silk scarves can add a lot of personality to your lower half. Tie a scarf around your ankle to catch attention to  your whole outfit and establish visual balance if you're looking for a way to draw attention to your beautiful heels.

Through Belt Loop

To add texture to a basic outfit, loop the scarf around your waist and tie it in a knot or bow. A scarf belt is perfect for formal occasions as well as casual weekend wear when paired with jeans. The Oli & Gaby Gem and Chain Red Silk Scarf is particularly well suited for this lovely look.

The Wrist Bracelet

Wearing a scarf around your wrist is fashionable and adds colour and intrigue to your look. Begin by folding your scarf diagonally at the desired width to make a wrist wrap. Wrap your wrist twice and tie a knot.
